Misc Nintendo WiFi Adapter Info Balloons

So i've got the Nintendo USB WiFi adapter; I use it for my Wii and DS

I was just wondering, is there any way to stop the little warning balloons telling you when a user is connected from popping up?
Because it constantly does it and its really starting to big me

Whats the actual balloon called tho? Not too sure which settings to change

EDIT: Don't worry, sorted it out

Tho it keeps making the annoying sound
By changing the setting, will it mean that i wont get the pop up when i get a new e-mail; im using the Googlemail Notifier
