People talking about the Wii U not having thunder at launch.

Odds are it will have a Smash Bros. title at launch, never mind main franchises.

With Sakurai not trying to do the majority of the game himself, it completely throws the timeframe we've come to expect from the series out the window. It could very well be out for, if not launch, not long afterwards.

lol to steal Wii U thunder lol good luck with that one, I'm looking forward to seeing the next xbox but where talking about Nintendo here they know that their competitors are hard at work gearing up to show there next gen consoles, though I don't think Sony will have there PS4 ready to be shown at E3 this year only cause they just started working on development of the system last year I think, talk about your rush job hell look whats happening to the Vita cause they rushed the development of the system and pushed it out! You'd have thought Sony to learn from their mistakes with the PSP and PS3 oh well all eyes on Nintendo and Microsoft this year until Sony can get their heads out of their asses and get with the program. lol :) I suspect will see a ton of next gen games major titles for the Wii U this year especially the way Nintendo has been on a roll these last two years at E3, this will be another Nintendo show you can bet on that, they have had much more time to get dev kits out to developers a year or more in advance and well you saw all the support their getting, :P

I was informed by an extremely reliable source that Microsoft is planning to make the NextBox completelly "gamepad-less", opting instead to use a combination of Kinect and a specifically-designed controller. For now, the name that surfaced is "Penetr840" - the designers explain the odd name, saying that it actually allows you to jump right into the action and "feel" the gameplay. The number was chosen because their Next-Gen is more then we could possibly expect from a "720". Each player will be "equpped" with the special, pressure-sensitive module attached to their body which will read out "button-presses" and the intensity of the pressing, and in conjunction with the Kinect send that information to the system. The "Kinect 2.0" will create the illusion of actually being "in the game".

The set is likely to be shipped with special gel and an applicator that are supposed to make insertion of the contraption into the sphincter a quick and pleasant experience. Only one is included with the NextBox, but fear not! The kit will be also sold separatelly under the name "Foreplay-er".

It's a work-in-progress.

Excuse me, that game's abysmal. My girlfriend is a Pokemon Nut, however we were quite happy the moment we sold it used, it was in pristine condition since we dared to play it once, I believe. She gave it a few chances but... no. Just... No.

The moment I saw the first models recycled from Nintendo 64 games on a contemporary system, the disc was ejected from the console and rejected from my memory.

EDIT: Funny story, when we were selling them, we got more or less 20 pounds for it. We got 2 for Trauma Center: Second Opinion. 2. For a vastly superior game. I was... distraught.

That is so true! Just like as long as teens and pretty much anyone of any age that love Nintendo, they will continue to exist.

Xbox 720=Do not want

PS4= Probably Want

Wii U= Want
Pretty much this, with a few changes. :P

Wheres the proof of this as far as I can see its just another rumor!

Made those changes for you.

I also wasn't aware that the Wii U had terribly large amounts of "thunder". If anything I remember analysts pawning it off after it was announced and even Nintendo saying it was a shitty reveal. Sure they'll have more stuff for it by next E3 but I don't think it'll create enough "thunder" to stop two new console announcements, especially if it had plenty of doubters before.

I'm sorry, I'm not going to risk my life-long friend's reputation just to appease your curiousity. He could lose his job for leaking information like this, so it's all very hush-hush.

I'm excited. I honestly can't wait for this gen to end, this gen was just terrible for me.

So I say bring it on. Bring on the PS4 and Wii-U.
Well be prepared to wait another 2-4 years for the PS4, Wii U maybe Christmas 2012? This article is just rubbish, no way PS4 or 720 is announced.
Why not exactly? It's possible they can announce it at this E3, and release it next year.
If they announce any console successor now, their current gen sales would surely drop. Which is something they of course don't want. Who would buy the PS3/360 if the next gen is already announced? You're basically buying a system that will be dead, together with most of the servers, in 2 years? Secondhand you would maybe buy it, but that doesn't help Sony/MS one bit.
Well that didn't really effect the PS2. Being over a decade old, its still selling thousands and Sony is still supporting it.

That also didn't effect the Wii during Black Friday, despite the Wii-U coming next year. I'm sure the PS3 and 360 will be fine even if a new gen is announced.

The Wii U has thunder to steal?

Anyway, if this is true, than E3 2012 is going to be one for the history books.

Ha! Funny. Let me do one for you.

Xbox 720=Not Sony

PS4=Sony

Wii U=Can't wait to bash on Nintendo more.

Yes, while some people was confused doing the announcement, the people that was actually at e3 (not to say there wasn't people accepting to idea outside of it) responded to it well at the demo stage of e3. Really, only haters and trolls in the media made it seem like it wasn't which I believe later on they are going to be shown completely wrong once again.

I used to drink alcohol fairly often. Never to the point of it being a problem, but like 2-3 beers with dinner each night, or a few cocktails or glasses of Scotch or something. Started smoking/vaping weed a lot a few years back which killed 90% of my interest in booze. Now I stopped smoking/vaping weed as much and just deal with life the boring way most of the time

@Xdqwerty, No, but I've seen it on Vinesauce's stream.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, that game is one of the reasons i met newgrounds bc the full versión of it is in that site

    Also somebody is remaking it

Spoke to Tom Fulp the other day, if he can find his old Newgrounds site content like the mini Flash animations from the 2000's that played on the portal.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
So far no response, but he did say that he'll find them. Wayback Machine doesn't have em.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, atleast the 1999 versión of pico's school is avaliable (the difference between it, the 2006 versión and the 2016 versión is that the speed of the game depends of the speed of your computer and that it had the og soundtrack)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Another being Pico VS Bear, the original 1999 version before Jim Henson filed a DMCA takedown.

Many people thought it was lost, but was discovered that he hid it on the same page.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, although the "secrets" system where the game was has been removed. Also pico vs uberkids had a netplay versión that was shutdown, although the swf file has been found
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Nope. There are two download buttons on the same page, where you can download the original under a file called "bear.exe". "bear2.exe", however, is the updated game in a Flash projector. P.s. this was on the archived Pico page from 2000.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
