These microSD cards will be released sometime later this year. I wonder how much they will be.

I'm sure that it will be quite expensive, but most importantly it is not microSD, it's microSDHC... This means it will only be compatible with microSDHC-compliant devices. Hint: not current flashcarts. Not even current mobile phones, or any other equipment for that matter. Even standard SDHC is not widely supported yet.

well microSDHC is interesting, for instance a was looking at a digital audio player website a month or more ago and saw that one of the dap's offered sdhc support via a firmware upgrade, i don't understand enough about the technology so i don't know if it was a software thing or a hardware thing, i guess they could have made the hardware support it from the begining. but makes ya wonder.

Like the current 2 gb cards, speed would probably be a factor if you could get it to work in your flashcart (which it won't).

Secondly, I'm in awe that you can fit 4 gb on such a small piece of material... This is just getting ridiculous!
