Does anyone know if at one point with more homebrew it be possible to use a external hard drive on the dock for more switch back ups instead of relying on the sd card. Like for example have a couple of titles on the sd card and your main libary pn the external hard drive.
The sx folk said they added it to their list of things to add.

Has anyone got clarification from TX if the hack support TV mode. I mean, after hacking the console, can we play pirate game on TV by placing the switch into the dock? This is affecting to the interest of quite a group of people who would like and prefer to play TV mode.

You know, there is a search option.
Eager attitude to asking questions is fine, but try to do some research beforehand.
Since you haven't, here's the answer.

What they said was only about people who for some reason never want to take the switch out of the dock.

You can take the switch out of the dock once, plug in the dongle and place the jig in the joycon rail and boot SX os, then remove the dongle and jig, and place the switch into the dock.

I don't get the confusion here.

I actually did search.. but not be able to find a official answer talking about this directly.. Same like Nollog mentioned.. TX just said, you will have to take the Switch out from the dock to hack. But they did not say if you can or can not play hacked game on tv mode after that..

I used to pretty sure there is no issue with a tv mode as it's such an important function, TX should not hide it if they can't manage it.
Until.. a TX SX retailer said they confirmed with TX, that TX won't support the TV mode..

The reason I asked and really wanted an official answer is,

There is a group chat created by a Chinese retailer, and there are hundreds of people had pre-ordered SX already, and now they are all trying to have their money back because of this misunderstanding from the stupid retailer.. I am not having any benefit in this.. but just don't want TX lose the business opportunities because of a stupid retailer reading the forum or FAQ via google translator and misunderstanding then spoil the hard work the other have done.

I am looking for a really really working with/in TX group member to give me the confirming answer, so i could snapshot and post the answer to the group chat, and smash it onto the face of the stupid retailer. Thanks for all.

Dude. Why in the WORLD would using SX OS prevent the Switch from putting out video via the dock? That has literally nothing to do with anything. If that was the case, RCM mode in general wouldn't work docked and I'm pretty sure with all the homebrew and Linux around we would have heard of something like that already.

Does anybody know if any of the resellers are actually legit? A lot of them seem kinda sketchy. I wish NDS-card sold them...
Ask many questions before you pick any of the official seller, if you can get answers in time about shipping, products and payments, maybe you can trust them.

No, it doesn't. That question refers to having the Switch docked all the time, i.e. not taking it out for Jig and Dongle RCM boot.
I wish I was wrong, but TX never gives me answer on that question, it makes me worried.

I pre-order Xecuter SX Pro from 3DS-Flashcard site. This site should be OK, I bought 3DS Flashcard a few times, and they ship the card from USA,I find they are the official distributors from the Team Xecuter official site, so I preorder it from this site, and the discount volume can be used.

If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
