Nintendo just dropped a new trailer for New Pokémon Snap, showing some new details, including some of the Pokémon you’ll be able to find and capture photos of. The most important bit of information revealed was the game’s release date. You’ll be able to pick up the sequel to the beloved Nintendo 64 classic on April 30th.

Is this game getting made just to ride on nostalgia or does the experience or gameplay really hold up even today? On paper, a game about taking pictures doesn't sound too enticing for me, I never grew up with an N64 so I wouldn't know though.

I'm really glad it's not just a shitty re-hash of the N64 game. I won't be picking it up, as it's not my kind of game, but they did a fantastic job with it I'd say. I just hope the game is large.

Maybe it is just me but they should have implemented the "Snap Mode" in the lets go series. I'm just tying to see how does Nintendo justify the $59.99 price tag for this game if all you are doing is taking pictures
