no but the cheat works fine http://cheats.gbatemp.net/ you can get it from here works like an ordinary cheat and you don't lose anything from the game for using it

Yes it did fix the US version of (an untrimmed & un-patched) Chrono Trigger as I tested it on my partners' EDGE just the other day.
