Hardware New 3ds xl volume slider part broken???

I recently got a new 3ds xl. My problem with it is the volume slider. It does not work. I search up vids on how to replace the volume slider but none has come up. I also wonder does anyone know what specific part of the volume slider for the new 3ds xl because I am very confused on which one I should buy . As there so many.
