No, it's because i you look at the monsters on the title screen they do look like a pokemon.

It looks like a fusion between Pokemon and Megaman Battle Network to me. The collecting elements are in both the games, but the combat system and idea of battling robots is rather similar to that of MMBN. Just a shame it's very talkie and I don't understand much in the way of Japanese.

Pokemon wasn't the first thing, you know. Just because there are different versions of anything doesn't make it a copy of something else. Now to the game: Kinda reminded me of Demikids, because it's done Japanese animation-like.

DemiKids came out in English, maybe this?

Obviously aimed for young people because there's no Kanji (Chinese characters) in it. Not my type of game...

Yes, it looks Pokemon but they only started to release games in colours after they saw how successful the strategy was with Pokemon. Gamers who buy games and want to collect everything in the game will have to buy both versions or get one of their friends to buy it. That means more money for the company

Somehow this double-buy-to-get-all strategy really pisses me off like hell... i hate such obvious rip-offs of customers... and ATM gamers are heavily in the crossfire of such game based rip-offs...

interesting, but... weird
