No, it's because i you look at the monsters on the title screen they do look like a pokemon.

It looks like a fusion between Pokemon and Megaman Battle Network to me. The collecting elements are in both the games, but the combat system and idea of battling robots is rather similar to that of MMBN. Just a shame it's very talkie and I don't understand much in the way of Japanese.

Now this pisses me off. [IMG] Pokemon wasn't the first thing, you know. Just because there are different versions of anything doesn't make it a copy of something else. Now to the game: Kinda reminded me of Demikids, because it's done Japanese animation-like. [IMG] DemiKids came out in English, maybe this?

And everyone who so quicky puts a 'whatever-clone stamp' on something is an idiot clone [IMG]

Just like true crime and gta vc.

Why can't things just be different?

what do you think if everyone keeps saying to you that you look like michael jackson? -> damn i don't have my own personality and i'm ugly [IMG] [IMG]

i'm not gonna try this, i'm not so interested in gba these days.....too bad though, i wanna have a nice game for it [IMG]

    *edit*
Whoops, someone complained about the clone stamp thing already, just forget it

Nice opening and nice graphics. Japanese people sure know how to make things like the gumball machine exciting [IMG] Obviously aimed for young people because there's no Kanji (Chinese characters) in it. Not my type of game...

Yes, it looks Pokemon but they only started to release games in colours after they saw how successful the strategy was with Pokemon. Gamers who buy games and want to collect everything in the game will have to buy both versions or get one of their friends to buy it. That means more money for the company [IMG]

    [Edit]

Heh, they misread the 'no' as a 'na' so it should be "Gachasute Dino Device 2" [IMG] It's even written under the Kana...

Somehow this double-buy-to-get-all strategy really pisses me off like hell... i hate such obvious rip-offs of customers... and ATM gamers are heavily in the crossfire of such game based rip-offs... [IMG]

Well then...looks like a lot of people don't like Pokemon or "pokemon clones"...Oh well, I have no problem with 'em...They're rpg's after all, and I usually am bored out of my mind, thus resorting to games like this.
    **cries**

By the way, masteroiri, I like your avatar & sig...SNK Ownz J00!

this thing is like combining pokemon, MMBN, and robot wars together
you use gumball machines to get monsters
    you battle like MMBN
    you customize monsters with machines
    interesting, but... weird
