Told you so, 20/5. Outrun, that game sure bring on some good/bad memories.

The good one : The very first time i fell in love (i was about 10 i think)

The bad one : That baby cost my a fortune (invested about $300 on that cabinet)

I just tried it and it's great, all titles are really top-notch

goes to show how well the gba can handle raster

all games are arcade-level ports, all original music tracks, even the insert coin sounds. a classic

You have got to be joking?!?!?!?!? Outrun is the shoddiest conversion I have ever seen. What ever happened to all the oncoming traffic? The whole appeal of Outrun was dodging the vans, and other cars, in a race to the the finish line, yet the road is completely empty

the road is far from "completely empty" in the game I'm playing

but I agree that OutRun, specifically, is way easier than the arcade version, and possibily less crowded with traffic (due to hardware limitations most probably)

it's still a very good conversion though and if you think it's "the shoddiest" you must have forgotten some pretty lacklustre past attempts...
