Sorry for the noob question...

I tried NeoGamma R8 beta 3. And my wiimote was losing sync. So I was unable to do anything (probably NeoGamma was freezing as soon as it was showing the screen menu).

Then I tried NeoGamma R8 beta 7. And I am getting just black screen. So it looks like it's not starting.

My system is:
Wii PAL 4.2E
Wiikey v1 flashed with firmware 1.9s
Homebrew channel is installed.
No other patches.
To run NeoGamma I copied the folder "NeoGamma" into /apps/ folder on the SD card. And then I was starting it via Homebrew channel.

So it looks like I am doing something wrong. Could you please point me into the right direction to get NeoGamma R8 working?

Update: I got NeoGamma R8 beta 7 working now after following A, B and C from this guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-g...stem-menus.html
Please note I have 4.2E system.

Having some difficulties with New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

So I used a program, stripped the game down to the WBFS (sp?) format, and put it onto the key and then plugged the sucker into the back of my Wii. Turned on the Wii -> HBC -> NeoGamma 7 Beta 8, after toggling Alternate .DOL and setting it to USB in the sub-menu and the main menu.

It detects Super Mario Bros. Wii and then I go and click it to launch and then it either times-out or crashes. I'm using the correct rip of the game so I'm not sure why it's not loading.

Fixed another plain stupid bug in beta 8. It had no chance to know that the codelist is at an unusual location. No changes related to Mario, just the next try to get Brawl+ to work.
just tested beta 8, no worky. ciosrev14 and brawl plus 5.0, vbi hook, sd using cios
says codes are applied, but the game isn't changed

WiiPower: Are u still trying to get MPT to run properly, or is that old news?

Menu and everything worked fine in NeoGamma, until I chose one of the games from the menu, then half green screen and reboot (no surprise I guess).

I'm trying to get an IOS Version patched copy to work. If you use cIOSrev13a(the only one, i would choose for the game), the loader has to handle 002 error. If you IOS Version patch the disc, so the game uses IOS249, you get more 002 trouble. The lastest NeoGamma tries to fix the 002 error in that case, but i doubt it will work. I got no reports on that yet, so please anybody test.

I have cIOSrev13b. How do you want me to test? What options etc?

Use the lastest NeoGamma beta test, and a burned & IOS Version patched disc while having cIOSrev13a installed.

To what IOS shall I patch it? I have a Wiikey v1 and I'm at 4.1E if you wonder.

The rebooter in beta 9 still does not work correctly. It reboots, but I always get the "an error occured..." message after launching a disc.

no preloader, no hacks, systemmennu 4.1.

You do not count, you have a chip. If it does not work for you, you are either just missing some IOS, or your chip is dead.

Patched discs? DISABLED Ocarina&debugger?

Uh... but MPT works for me from disc, but not via USB loader (works with the usual limits, alt dol, no menu, veteran mode etc.)

So it's completely irrelevant?

games patched to IOS249 are working like before
Ocarina On: no
Debugger: no

Beta 10, i'm about to give up on Brawl+. Now i do not shut the storage down, i think Brawl+ loads stuff from sd card? So this would make sense if it starts working now.

Mr Wiipower are there any future plans of adding a update option in neogamma

No.

Hi, I have trouble using ocarina with neogamma. Ocarina works fine from HBC, but when I use it with neogamma, it says: "SD codes not found". The code is in SD:/codes/, the ID's the same, and I tried a couple of different hooktypes. Still, no luck. Oh yeah, and what's the rebooter for?
