Homebrew neoDS - Update!

Has anyone played Sonic Wings 2/3 or Super Sidekicks series recently? In the former you can't hear the BGM, in the latter there are graphical errors in the background scrolling. Does this happen to you as well? Has anyone been able to solve these problems? Surely it is not a RAM problem, because in slot-2 of my DS Lite I have inserted a Supercard SD which is properly recognized.

Hey son, It is automatically recognized when I start NeoDS: the word "slot2" appears on the right.

How do I know it is actually being used? For example, Art of Fighting 3 freezes in the fighter selection screen without the Supercard, while it works perfectly with this one inserted in slot-2.

Hello wut do you mean art of fighting 3 freez on the fighter selection i dint have any problem with it no slot 2 i can get it to reconized wut version you used plus are you using the 2.1 version

I use the latest available version of NeoDS (v0.2.0) already pre-installed in my flashcart (Ace3ds+).
Yeah, in my case AoF3 would freeze after a few seconds in the selection screen without additional RAM, idk why.

Edit: Is anyone using the unofficial version 0.2.1? Do Sonic Wings and Super Sidekicks series have the same problems as the official version (no BGM the former, background scrolling issues the latter)?

I just switched the expansion pak detection code to come from BlocksDS instead. I don't have anything to test with, though.

Tried and it detected my expansion pak but it wont play the game its just gets buggy

Hi @wariobar

To do your test, you can use Blazing Star, you can see the difference during the intro, with Metal Slug 5 the glitches disappear with 3in1 tool, Shock Troopers 1 & 2 also work well with the 3in1, otherwise, I recommend all fighting games whose style requires a lot of nervousness to play pleasantly.
