Need help: Should I buy 2 PS3's and 2 360's?

Ok, so, I have a PS3 and a 360 already. But here's the catch, the PS3 is in it's latest firmware and my 360 is banned and only used for backups. Now, I was thinking about buying a 3.55 PS3 and use it only for backups and buying a 360 only for playing 360 games on Live. Would this be a good option?

A 360 without XBL is practically useless. Even singleplayer games are funner if you're in a party with your friends.
and the cost of XBL is so minimal you could work 1 day a year and afford it easy. I was 12 when I could start earning enough money for XBL.

I'd go for the 360 with live if you have the spare cash. Most good PS3 games are already cheap, you'd probably spend more money on a new PS3 then you would on the good games for it.
