Wow I haven't been here in a while, college has kept me so busy I haven't touched my 2ds since november when I played a little bit of ultra sun. I don't have any custom firmware though I was thinking about getting into it before nintendo starting banning people. Obviously I'm not banned and I changed the spotpass settings so they wouldn't send data to nintendo or whatever, and I'm wondering if it's worth it to get into cfw? And from the looks of this video here I wouldn't have to spend $24 on a cartridge, that is if the seedminer exploit hasn't been patched.
- The only app I used was PKSM, and the pokemon I have stored on there are nearly a decade year old.
- I've been running *hax-based homebrew launchers with various exploits, the latest being soundhax.
- Somehow my 2ds manage to update (!?) to 11.4.0.35u despite the fact it's been offline for probably a year, so soundhax doesn't work anymore.
- Soundhax behaves differently than when exploits were patched. Whereas they would do absolutely nothing and leave me without my custom theme, I still have my custom theme and it does launch Homebrew launcher.
- The launcher CTDs when it says "the homebrew robpin is ready." It would appear the issue is with the launcher, but I suspect a homebrew update wouldn't use soundhax as an entry point.
