Just rehack your vwii
rehacking won't magically restore IOS to their original state. hacking doesn't touch IOS58, and even require a clean one. missing 58 will be problematic to even rehack. don't try to rehack, don't delete HBC either thinking you'll rehack later! when you are in such situation, never try to delete or format, you'll make worse damages.

Bootmii won't lad without the correct iOS but i will stop this as i know it's against the rules, sorry
you are right, modmii (not bootmii nor hackmii) is for Wii, not vWii.
and even if modmii has a vWii option, the only legal and clean method to get a clean IOS is from using bluedump mod with proper settings.
all other method to generate a wad file will fail the encryption and signature.
if it provides the clean IOS, it means it's hosted somewhere and not generated from official files stored on nintendo's servers.

But there's always the method of ftpiiu, instead of packing to wad you get the files unpacked and replace them using FTP to slccmpt manually. (not very easy)

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
