Correct. The .NDS/.DAT file IS the .CIA in this case.@Bobesh8 if it means anything the original R4 mode doesn't generate a file for the flashcard SD like the other one does, just an NDS and CIA.

Okay, good, just checking.Correct.
It's not broken. Put the Forwarder3DS folder in the hard drive root, and run the .jar file.Seems (at least with Original R4 set) that it doesn't produce valid DSi Extended headers so makerom/make_cia refuse to make CIAs (and the generated folder did not contain CIAs. Just the SRL files)
So something seems broken with the Original R4 setting.
Yeah, I don't want to have them unusable so I just cut it back to a handful of games I really wanted launchers/banners for. I'll try doing the bit with the rom tomorrow and see how it goes. They are just stored on the SD card as backup and essentially unusable until copied back to the NAND. Same applies to the DSi.
And yes.
Try the included EXE installer. You don't need to have Java installed in your machine with it.I see. I would hope this gets ported to C# or something. Java isn't my cup of tea if you know what I mean.
I think he already tried.Try the included EXE installer. You don't need to have Java installed in your machine with it.
Try running it as admin? I dunno.Java exception occurs if I try to run the jar from the downloaded folder. The one installed by exe starts. But still fails to produce CIAs. So not working for me.
Oh. Oops then. It's okay.I think he already tried.
Try updating Java if you haven't done that.I have UAC turned off. Running as Admin isn't going to change anything. (and I'm using Windows 7 x64 FYI)
Try using make_cia in Command Promt instead, and leave the DSi Extended header incomplete/corrupt. That usually works.Yeah DSI Extended header is incomplete/corrupt. I looked at the SRLs it generated. I manually repaired them. Then built CIAs and tried them. Don't seem to work. White screens. Then bottom screen goes black. Nothing happens after that.
It does show the "Failed to start YSMenu.nds" message on bottom screen if I boot it without the card inserted.
Yes.the firmware that use is wood, the shortcut would take on my dstt?
Yes, but you will have to tell them the .DAT name (or path if it's not in the root), and the Game path.another question, can I get ready shortcuts to other people to use on my 3ds?
