nds-bootstrap loader: Run commercial NDS backups from an SD Card

nds-bootstrap:

Thanks to the work of ahezard, Gericom, Apache, Robz8, _catcatcat, and shutterbug2000 and other contributors, we can now load NDS games from the SD card, without any flashcard/SLOT-1 card.

Don't expect high compatibility, but do expect many, many updates.

i would really like to put this on my sons 3ds ... i didnt do a cfw on his 3ds .. as i idid not have a soldering gun .. when i last attempted to hack it ... can this be done with menuhax
No, you have to have custom firmware.

oh fair enough ... is there a way to put cfw without soldering at this moment
Depends on your firmware.

Let me just find it! 1 minute

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Ver 11.2.0-35u

You're either going to need another 3DS that has custom firmware or just wait until something gets released

I'd recommend just giving it to someone else and letting them do it for you if you're not technologically savvy

EDIT: ninja'd
It depends of the version the 3DS is. If it's 11.2.something, then you NEED another one with CFW to downgrade. If it's 11.1 or 11.0, you can do a downgrade as long it has certain DSiWare installed. If it's lower than that, you can indeed set up downgrading without any game.

theres some really good Hardmod installers in teh states for cheap, @vb_encryption_vb (60$) did your son's 3DS have any DSIware games on it? as you MIGHT be able to downgrade it when we have that lil more reliable fasthax implentation

I also have a class 10 64GB card. Is yours formatted correctly (Fat32, 64KB clusters)?

What is the full name of the rom you are using? Don't link me to it, the name is all what i need :)
It's the US Version, and the file name has the word (Trashman) in it.

I guess what Dracari said is it, apparently fasthax could serve to help that, but if the 3DS had DSiWare. If it doesn't, I guess it's either hardmod or, as you said, wait for something.

Could someone post the latest commit?
Install the latest TWLoader, it should later give you the option to update your bootstrap in the option screen (Choose Unofficial)
