Which are you refering to?

The Beast Battles characters. I think you might have to play as them IN VS mode. At gamefaqs, it said unlock them for VS mode, so my assumption is play as them in VS mode.
Speaking of gamefaqs, you can actually find my full save file there. Or you can find it within this topic as well.

I dont seem them available to play in vs. mode, atleast what I think is vs mode. I go under Single Mode, then vs computer.

Instructions: Use XDelta UI [stolen from Noitora ;_;] to apply patch ....xdelta to clean version of ROM
Make sure ROM you're gonna patch is called b-naruto3.nds
Then, in the same folder give the new patched file a name!]

Right now I'm working on polishing up some details so it feels like a thorough translation. All I'll say for right now is that you'll probably be very glad when I release the next patch, gokujr


and I suggest playing that one rather than waiting for the entire story mode script (because I'm doing everything else first) :e

hey kosheh i just registered to give some info on the script of story mode in NSR3
part 1

naruto fought another battle against sasuke, though he failed to bring him back.
after another failed mission they return to the hidden leaf.
part 2
tsunade : so , how did the mission go
yamato : we met orochimaru at the bridge and fought against him. after that we followed him to his hideout and there we encountered sasuke uchiha. allthough the mission didn't go as planned
naruto: we couldn't bring sasuke back.....
we failed....
sakura : (naruto, i'm sorry i couldn't be of help)
naruto: ..........
sakura: but we're not giving up! we're bringing sasuke back
naruto: .........
sai: a squad of three is better than a squad of two...
sakura: !
sai: then againl i'm pretty good myself
so we can still continue...
naruto: .....
i'm so weak.
tsunade: huh... is this the naruto i know... where are your guts?
naruto: ..... all right ... i've made my mind up ...

Nice summary, man. B) I just took a look at the script wondering "Ugh, how am I going to do this"

There's 10~11 parts to do but we'll play that by ear after the next beta patch [which is now so polished that it's....hilarious. I just for some reason get really unenthusiastic while doing the unlock messages. There's too many D:]


I'll do them, but work is being a real buttface. I've been coming home late every night so I can't get things done like i wanna ):
Tonight/tomorrow I'll deffo have a significant part of the script done - because I wanna unveil part of a translation to my friends on Saturday (who are giant weeaboos and looove Naruto)

So yeah if your life revolves around this patch, don't worry things will be patched up by the end of the week but if it doesn't come out don't cry OK
