Quick question, my apologies if this has already been covered.
What version of this game will we need to have for this?
Specifically, does it need to be clean or not, and if there are multiple versions of the game, which one will we need to apply the patch correctly?
(I assume clean is needed, also heard there was a regular and some sort of special edition, which is why I'm asking a seemingly noobish question.)
There was no special edition. Just Nanashi no Game, the sequel Nanashi no Game Me, and the two DSiWare games that cannot be translated because it is impossible to play pirated DSiWare.

...wait WHAT!?

Never heard about them õ.õ
It's because they're really obscure. However, they ARE listed on the Wikipedia page for Nanashi no Game and there are a few videos about them. We talked about them a few pages back, too.

Wow, can't believe it'll get released in just a few days. I think I've said it before, but anyway, thanks a lot guys for all your hard work.

Nagato posted his first breakthrough on July 15th.

If the translation is published this weekend, the entire project will have been completed in exactly 13 weeks.

Truly an auspicious date for the release! I'm sure the spirits will forgive you for not meeting the 7-week goal. ;)

That's a pretty fast translation, however. Most translations take within 3 months to a year if they're not simple menu patches.

To be fair, this game is a little short and doesn't have as much text as many other games. The main translator said so himself some pages back.

It's an amazing game no less(And careful when you play it in a quiet room, very late at night. It's very scary D:)

Good job, guys ^_^ ^_^

I am seriously amazed at how this picked up so quickly after such a long dead period. I can't wait to play this!!!

I'm not a fan of the game or the genre but I'm incredibly happy that a game that was once said 'almost impossible to translate' is finally translated, and in record time at that(if the weekend deadline is to be met). Who knows, one day i could be bored enough to forget that I'm totally terrified of the Horror genre and play it. :)

once this patch comes up, feel free to post any weird stuff happening to you guys, in-game or... *gasp* in real life. :tpi:

just don't die, people, okay? ahaha. it'll be bad if the actual curse kills any of you, heh. :rofl2:

How do you know it isn't real?
Maybe people are just claiming to have played through it to lure you in.
Just make sure you beat it before the deadline.
It could kill you, or maybe just kill your DS.
:P

Thanks a lot to all the people involved in this patch :)
You managed to create a team quickly and released it relatively fast (compared to other projects) after the first text hack.

I'll try it a little.
Thank you :)

(I'll see if someone can post it on the portal)

The word can still be guessed from this post.
 it seems obvious.

Edit, for users:
The ROM listed as correct from OfflineList (advanscene) is not working by drag-dropping it to patch.bat, even though the MD5 match >.>
Rename the ROM to ind-nngj.nds and double click the patch.bat instead.

Now that the patch is finished, I'll now offer my thanks to the people who helped with this patch.
This is a game that I have most eagerly anticipated and I am glad to have seen it finished.

Once again, thank you for your hard work and I hope you have a very relaxing weekend, knowing that you have made a bunch of random strangers really happy. ^_^

Wow. Thanks to everyone who made this possible.Gotta start playing it right away.

@Nagato:This is off-topic but are you the same Nagato who contributed(Tools) on the Steins;Gate translation project?

Edit: Crappy connection...
