Yeah apparently Red New 3DS have the bad luck to be delivered with 9.4.

So my roomies and me just got the N3DS, one red, one black, and one was the Monster Hunter 4 Edition.
Both the red and black were bought today, 2/13 from Best Buy in MA. They are both on 9.0.0-20U. Will update when the Monster Hunter one defrost lol.

Edit: The Monster Hunter one is 9.2

Red: 9.0 QW4025XXXXX
MH4U: 9.2 QW4013XXXXX

There was another with MH version with 9.2 as well. Looks like when they loaded the game 9.2 came with it.

Nah, I was just pointing out why the QW4012 with 9.2 seemed out of place. Who knows if it will stay like that. These kind of things are never sure things. I am thinking about going back to that toys r us and seeing if they have more from this serial since I got mine earlier and was good.

below 4009 = pre-limited edition manufactures

4009 - 4013 - Limited edition manufactures

4014+ = after limited edition manufactures
