Hi everyone,

I just picked up a red New Nintendo 3DS XL and I was wondering if you guys have any recommendation for accessories? Is there anything such as battery packs, case, carrying case, etc. that I should be get to improve the 3DS?

I've been looking at this Hori's clear case here, but the reviews states that the case isn't very well made and is a bit loose. However, I've notice that the Japan Import version has a much better rating here. Are they the same case or is the japan one better?

Using mugen batterypack. Very pleased.  Has also bigger case so grip on the n3ds is more nice for bigger hands. No need for any grip holder.

Looks nice, but a bit pricey. I'm fine with how the 3DS feels in my hands, so I'll most likely get a USB cord for the 3DS and a power bank instead.

Ignore the bad ratings on the U.S. one. I got mine last week and it is awesome and is not loose. I like it a lot better than my PowerA Acrylic 3DS XL case and the lack of clips is good for not scratching the console and the fact that TPU flexes, meaning simple clips will not hold it on.

After some thoughts, I decided not to go with the Hori case. I generally don't like cases on my electronic devices because they a little bulk and some of them take away the device manufacture's design. So, I've decided to go with this instead, a Skinomi clear skin. I've used skins before and they have kept all my devices scratch free. I'll post some pics of how it looks on my 3DS once I receive it.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
