Seems like you can have gw launcher and rxtools both ready to go and use fbi as the rop switcher?

If you installed the Bluecardfix.cia to your Sysnand, you could also just place rnInstaller on the NDS flashcart / whatever rxtools uses and swap from Sysnand without having to boot into Gateway Menu / Gateway Sysnand mode each time.
NDS method is faster, whichever you prefer though.

Ok so I can blue card fix on n3ds? That's good news! I flash card time warped my o3ds and also did something to get my acekard 2i working again but I don't remember what- since n3ds never had a firmware that supported ak2i I pry can't get it running on n3ds...
Oh! @usernametaken - for the end user that desires stability should I use reinand or rxtools? The goal is cia support, vc support and must be region free if possible.

Right, Bluecardfix.cia is apart of the Gateway package. Just install it to Sysnand and your NDS flashcart will be usable from there.
I use Reinand, usually what I recommend since I know it works pretty well. - Doesn't have built in Region free, you'd need to launch NTR 3.0.cia or FreeMultiPatcher each time you boot Emunand.
I think rxTools for the N3DS is stable now, so it's whatever you prefer. - Not sure if it has Region free, if not the above.

I think I downgraded my twl firm as well as bluecaedfix to restore my ak2i on my o3ds. I need to find out if i can do the same on n3ds.
Akaio has excellent nds compatibility.
So... it begins:
1- Rxtools has a fork of pasta built-in for doing what is pasta necessary for: Updating/downgrading the system and installing titles to sysnand.
2- Reinand was the first cfw for n3ds, and is still great. It's lack of features are in fact it's feature.
3- RxTools used in the past reinand's modified firm file, but that is no longer the case for months now. RxTools can (and should) use nintendo's original firm file, just like CakesCFW.
4- I would like to demistify CakesCFW being advance as is by far the easier to setup and run (download two files, copy that and cakescfw to sd, run it and do first setup and go) and it even has a great and easy to use plugin system that nobody is using for whatever reason (like the cfw itself, even being the most stable of all).
5- While ninjhax allows for region free, cubic ninja is starting to be obsolete. I'll explain: while we are still using "ninjhax" with browserhax, menuhax and the hblauncher_loader we don't need cubic ninja cart, 3ds or cia anymore. Not even for n3ds. In fact, I downgraded my 2ds to 9.2 and I went all the way to CakesCFW 10.3 Emunand without using a single time cubic ninja or a Gateway Exploit (thanks to mr d0k3, with Decrypt9 and EmuNAND9Tool). I just did browserhax twice on sysnand and once on emunand (could have been zero on emunand, but meh, my mistake).
Sorry about that rant, but things are evolving pretty fast this days around here.

Given that rxTools 3.0 finally enables 10.5 emunand in New 3DS. Is it a better option than Reinand or Cakes, in terms of bootrate? I am currently using reinand and it usually takes 3 freezes to boot correctly.
For emunand I use ReiNand.
For sysnand with sig patches I use MiniPasta.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
