Hacking My JP New 3DS 8.1 will it eventually have a Gateway method..

I have an AUS 3DS I just ordered Cubic Ninja for but I also have an extra JP New 3DS I want to eventually turn into an American New 3DS using Gateway, even if it takes like a year or so for this to happen. Is this viable?

Well, rather than waiting a WHOLE YEAR to play your JP N3DS, if your JP N3DS is 9.2 or lower, you can just get a Sky3DS and use the JP CN/OOT rom to boot into Gateway.

But I guess you already knew about that?

I already have an AUS version so I don't need to use it for at least a year if that's how long it takes

at the moment there is no method to launch gw on n3ds, without oot or cn. it is that simple.

i think he is trying to tell you that you wont get around 8.1 you can load gateway through cubic ninja or oot thats it, the new 3ds uses skater instead of spider so the browser exploit is dead.

That's when the EUR And USA exploit gets released. But the OP is asking about JP 8.1
