Does this only work with the .nsp?

Probably with LFS, too. Haven't tested this method (unable to do that right now.

This Method could also work with LayeredFS and u4pak.py.

Uhm i need help i have my system keys and the game as nsp in one folder and when i open the nsp using the bat and enter the language i get Error: Something went wrong!

Make sure your NSP file doesn't have spaces in its name!
That solved my problem!!

If yes, you need to open the heroscript.bat in Editor/Notpad/Notepad++/Wordpad and add "--titlekey=YOUR-TITLEKEY" behind all "%hactool% -k %keys% " like
"%hactool% -k %keys% --titlekey=YoURTITLEKEY --exefsdir=hero_exefs --romfsdir=hero_romfs "hero_pfs0\22fb962f18e36b557a984bf5b93fbe3c.nca"

You also need to check the names of the nca-files.
Currently the Patcher is not perfect and we'll release a better version later

I have built the nsp
installed it! everything is fine but the game freezes at the start menu after selecting profile!!

this is weird. It seems you have done some other changes, according to the Title Name your Game has.
I've used the exact same script and my game is working fine.
I would say wait for the next Patcher update, which will come in a few hours.

is your patcher able to work with xci after that ? or nsp always needed ? ( converted my xci to nsp btw , but well , didn't seems to work )
and does it remove the need to check everything ? i can't make it working it seems

We're currently working on a Patcher, which works with the current Update of the Game (version 1.0.1).
This will result in a ~200MB Patched Pak-file which can be used via LayeredFS (with XCI AND NSP).

that is cool, but I fear future updates (and going by early reviews, it certainly needs some of those) and dlc might make this all much more trouble than it's worth. I think I'll just wait the two months to check in on this.

yes but , the patche need or original files to work with right ? and then can it extract what it need from XCI directly ? ( or will the pak file be available to DL too ? ( probably not )
because i can't even seems to make the actual one do something so ... if it does everything alone , it would be perfect :/

If you Patch the Update, you don't need to patch the Base Game.
Uploading the Pak is illegal, because it still uses original game files.
Afaik there's a pak uploaded on jjbredesens Discord.

Been running into an error, do I have to extract this keys.txt from the console itself?
The message I keep getting is "Error: Something went wrong", tried to edit the .bat to see if I could get a clue, but its just a general error. Also, already verified if there aren't spaces in the nsp file name.
