So I have the digital copies of both Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, and I was wondering if it is possible to have different pk3DS settings in the SaltySD folder. For example: Pokemon Sun is not randomized, just some trainer tweaks, but Pokemon Moon is completely randomized. Does anyone have an idea? Thank you.

bruh this is a no brainer all you have to do is make seperate folder for them in the saltysd folder say for example Moon Randomizer and Sun Tweaks so you figure out which is which and then what you do is whether you want to play moon you rename the folder to SunMoon if you want to play sun rename the SunMoon folder to you Moon randomizer and rename the Sun tweaks folder to SunMoon simple as that

Oh, I had an idea pretty similar to that...but I was asking if I can just play both games anytime, without having to do anything to my SD card. It was my fault for not being very specific, but it seems that's not possible as of this moment. Anyways thanks for the reply, I greatly appreciate it.

You'd have to modify the source code for SaltySD. If you would want to wait for a few hours (I'm at work and I can't do it right now), I could change the folder that the games need and as long as you have the 1.1 update, it should work. Is there a specific name for the folder that you want or do you just want the names Sun and Moon?

Really? Thank you so much! Yes, I can wait for as long as you need. And the folders name can just be Sun and Moon.

Try these .ips patches out and let me know how it goes. There's a readme in the .zip.

Do you think I can use my edited code.bin ips patches for the latest Luma3DS nightly? Or do I have to use the ones provided?

You HAVE to use the ones I gave you. Otherwise, you won't be able to use the different folders. What do you mean by "your edited code.bin ips patches"?

I used this batch tool to create a edited code.bin
    https://gbatemp.net/threads/batch-tool-to-generate-ips-patches-for-pkmn-su-mo.452178/
It can add multiple patches of your choice like no outline, exp multiplier, etc. And the edited code.ips goes into Luma3ds' titles folder under the correct game id.
