Homebrew mplayer wi port smb help

Hiya, as you know mplayer wii port has smb feature. Files can only be viewed from C drive, however, I would like to know if it's possible to view and play files from a external source/harddrive connected to the pc (like F drive).

No i wouldn't of thought so,not sure though. maybe test it and report back, also you could just plug the USB in the wii, and let mplayerwii or geexbox play from there.....just test

Yes I've already thought of USB behind wii, any noob can do that. My router has a usb female port (the small one) for usb devices, could I use this somehow?
