Originally developed on the GBA & a ROM was released for free and can be obtained from this very forum. It was also available to buy on cartridge though there was only a limited supply.

"Motocross Challenge™ is a classic motocross racing game where the players must speed through gorgeous scenic locations, handle high-flying action jump ramps and amaze the crowds with death defying tricks.

The game offers different types of games that will satisfy any types of players. In the Challenge Mode, the player can compete in a Beat The Clock style of race. Similar to classic arcade racing, the player must speed through the track as fast as possible, from checkpoint to checkpoint, in order to beat the best times. The World Tour events pit four racers in a motocross racing "Battle Royal" where it's everyone for itself! The player must muscle for ranks as opponents try to snatch the gold away from it.

Trick Attacks events throw the player into a free-style performance frenzy where it's all about big scores and high flying action. The player has only one lap to show off extraordinary stunts and take home the honors shattering the highest trick scores. It is also possible for the player to take part in a Free Ride. This style of racing lets the players race as long as they want, without time or laps limit restrictions. In these races, the players can practice tricks, try out bikes, learn their favourite tracks or simply enjoy the race without any boundaries.

Game key features

- 10 motocross bikes
- 7 tricks to combo
- 16 tracks to unlock through 60 racing events
- A track editor
- Highscores

With it's massive content, quick but hard to master races and multiple profiles, Motocross Challenge™ is suited to fit from occasional players to expert gamers and is easily shared between family and friends."

They are currently looking for a publisher, even though I already have this on GBA I really hope that they do get one and get what they deserve.

Great game indeed, the ones on GBC were even better. Can't say I enjoyed the GBAs one that much but even then they were good.

The GBA didn't include all of this. And if they add wifi, they may just find a niche audience. That would be more than Square-Enix has done with the last dozen games.

I can say that if I were developing it, I would try to make it something that would last awhile. Look at the top games on Gamefaqs, like Jump Ultimate Stars. People still play that even after these several years. Let people customize their bikes, share tracks, etc. The more creative you are, the more entertainment value people will get out of it, and the bigger audience you'll acquire.
