Anyone here was able to make this work using joycon droid NFC option?... I'm on SX OS 3.1.0 fw 11.0.0 MH Rise version 1.1.1 but the game is unable to detect the Magamalo amiibo using the bin file provided from the discord. Any advice is appreciated.

Yo, im not sharing the bin files anymore. Dont DM me anymore for them. DM's are apparently monitored. The bin files are super easy to find for everyone who can google properly.

I believe someone successfully used joycon droid not only to simply read the amiibo but unlock the layered skin armors from the three amiibos. It is not here in gbatemp though. It was in our local messenger chat group.

He used an old samsung phone as joycon droid is a bit picky when it comes to some phone brands but as long as your phone has a HID bluetotth profile/capable, you are good to go with joycon droid.

if you are not sure whether your phone has HID bluetooth, there is an android app called Bluetooth HID PRofile TEster which you can use.

does it work with the latest firmware? It worked seamlessly with my Emunand at FW 10.2 but Joycon Droid keeps trying to connect at my originalnand FW 12.00 but it just wont connect succesfully.

If you have a samsung S10 or higher download the app joycon droid from the appstore.
find the ambii files (google it)
move to your phone, open the app > settings > experimental NFC enabled, select ambii, pair app to your switch through the joycon/controller settings, once paired use your phone to move around to the receive ambii for your game. It will now act as an ambii figure and collect
