Hello, I have a bit a dilema, I have my wii connected to my pc monitor cable via vga however, I'm getting sound but no video, this is because I need to enable hdtv/edtv in the settings menu. Now I have bootmii installed as boot2 and all cables connected. I know that bootmii runs automatically on boot when it detects the bootmii folder with all the necessary files. If you were to modify these files is there anyway I can set a specific configuration to my wii upon boot (such as from 50hz tv to hdtv settings)?

i think the answer is no.

the system menu reads settings from the nand to decide what video mode to use. while you can use bootmii to write settings to the nand which the system menu will read later, there is no reason to use bootmii to do this. you can already write these same settings on your nand many other ways.
