Ok thanksIf you update redNAND without SEEPROM your Wii U bricks
Ok thanksIf you update redNAND without SEEPROM your Wii U bricks
It should also be mentioned that if you brick sysNAND you can't access redNAND, so you've effectively bricked bothIf you update redNAND sysNAND brick,
If you update sysNAND redNAND brick
Everything was fine, I've installed many games o my RedNAND, after setup mocha with my RedNAND the games still playable but every time I try to install bigger games (>4gb), the install fail (both in wupinstaller y mod and SysConfig tool)!!! It says that I have to reformat my sd with 32k cluster or replace it. Both done and it continue to fail. I've tried to instal to SysNAND and fail again. I'v formated my SysNAND and created a brand new RedNAND, on both it continue to fail, reformated my hdd, changed the usb ports, even bought a new USB Y cable and nothing.
All this was done trying with my precompiled fw.img (without mocha) and with mocha...
I don't Know what else I can do...
Edit:
I'v also tried diferent versions of the Wupinstaller y Mod.
If you update redNAND sysNAND brick,
If you update sysNAND redNAND brick
Nope, you update redNAND without SEEPROM redirection and it bricks sysNAND. If you don't believe me, feel free to delete your SEEPROM dump and update your redNAND when Nintendo releases the next updateIf you brick redNAND, you only brick redNAND ...
What he was saying to the person he was replying to is, That if you update redNAND without SEEPROM redirection, You brick your sysNAND.If you brick redNAND, you only brick redNAND ...
I've already replaced the sd card, the first one was a 32gb class 4, and now i'm trying with an 64gb class 10...Had a similar issue. Changed SD card. Fixed.
If you're wondering how it's looks to boot Mocha CFW via CBHC
The latest CBHC has an option for Mocha on the menu.So.. how do I use this with CBHC?
What he was saying to the person he was replying to is, That if you update redNAND without SEEPROM redirection, You brick your sysNAND.
No its a fact that updating rednand with brick sysnand too because it will update a file on sysnand that rednand doesn't emulateNo, if you brick you redNAND, you ONLY brick your redNAND, not your Sys.
This is the interest of the redNAND.
You seem to confuse redNAND and emuNAND.No, if you brick you redNAND, you ONLY brick your redNAND, not your Sys.
This is the interest of the redNAND.
Read the post's he was replying too..No, if you brick you redNAND, you ONLY brick your redNAND, not your Sys.

@dimok or others : it's important to dump the SEEPROM and the OTP and why it's important ?
My Wii U work very well with Mocha CFW on Default setting without these files...
If you update redNAND without SEEPROM your Wii U bricks
The entire console or just the redNAND partition?
If you update redNAND sysNAND brick,
If you update sysNAND redNAND brick
Actually rednand and emunand are the same concept applied on different way. This is still rednand, but now it is fully redirected. You seem to confuse redNAND and emuNAND.
What about MCP FAT32 mount on SD "behaving" as a USB device? Would that be possible or would that be too hacky?maybe MCP FAT32 mount on USB
1. I put my CBHC title in a folder after install and no brick but I heard a person bricked that way. You should uninstall move to folder then reinstall.I got it with latest CBHC now, but I have two questions
1. Can this hide the CBHC title? It's just extra protection (I know people who couldn't get this because their siblings might move the title into a folder or smth).
2. Would we be able to OTP/SEEPROM dump on sysNAND (but not use it) as it may be useful.
