I have a very strange issue I would be very grateful if anyone could help me to fix.

It seems when installing official MIOS v8-v9 or v10 my original Gamecube games fail to boot. Restoring to MIOS v4 or v5 fixes the problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

BC v6 already installed. I even tried to downgrade it to v2 and then reinstalling BC v6 again!!
Didn't work.

Thanks for your quick answer!!

v4 works like a charm, but i'm kind of worried to see that official MIOS v8, v9 and v10 don't work on my Wii, and I was just wondering why...

Gambia, The
Yeah, the region could be an issue here. Or not using the disc channel. Or some priiloader patch.

I only know of one thing that's above the basic functionality, and that's the Wind Waker dungeon map fix. Which is, as far as i know, already inside MIOSv4. V5 or V8 removes Action Replay support, and that's all i know about differences in MIOS.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Yes, GC games are original retail discs from my region, so its quite surprising they do not boot when using MIOS v8, v9, or v10 (they don't boot when launched from the disc channel or neogamma either, and the issue is still there even when applying CMIOS patch to MIOS v10...).
Fortunately, this does not happen when using MIOS v4 or v5 (or CMIOS applied to v4).

As WiiPower says, this could be related to Priiloader. I was quite sure I didn't left trace of all the patches I used back then, but there's the possibility that something was left behind... Any thoughts about that?

Thanks again for your kind help!!

No offense taken!!!

I'll follow your advice and I will install priiloader again!

Should I stick to MIOS v4 or advance to v10? I thought v10 was a better choice when using SWISS...
