My first question is this: when a cMIOS is installed does it replace the original MIOS so that it is completely gone and only the cMIOS remains?
And number 2: I'm trying to reinstall the original MIOS that was on my wii by downloading it as a wad through NUS Downloader but there are different versions of the MIOS to choose from. How do I know which one my Wii needs? Or can I just choose the newest version?

Yes, a cMIOS will overwrite MIOS.

If your Wii is quite old, all versions of MIOS should work with your Wii.

My Wii is brand-spanking-new. It has a LU70 serial number prefix. Should I just install the newest version?

If you want to play back ups then run MIOS Patcher and install v8

But if you don't want to run gamecube back ups then install MIOSv10 (this is the official one and the latest

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    nope

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
