No, it's actually impossible. For multiplayer, you'd have to stream the same map across two DSes and all the changes the players do at the same time. The DS wouldn't be able to transfer that quickly, and would either

A. Crash
B. Lag like hell upon hell

Unless we can get a server. Probably take thousands of terabytes. No prob.
