How can I tell whether or not a card I'm buying will have sufficient random access times for problem games? Is checking for class 6 a sufficient indicator? I know it's related to general read/write speed but I'm not sure about it's random access. Anyone had any experience with the 2gb OEM card that RealHotStuff is giving away as a 'free' combo to their CycloDS?

the class of a card only indicates the write speed, and although logically a class 6 card will be of higher quality and have quicker read times, this is no guarantee.

The 2gig that comes with the CycloDS from RHS is a Taiwan generic......slower than a Kingston Japan 2gig anyway. I bought for my nephew for Christmas. He hasn't complained about yet.
