Hacking Metroid Prime Trilogy cheat/hack to remap Scan Mode on a single button press?

Hi. I recently wanted to replay Metroid Prime on Wii using the wiimote controls (I only played it previously on Gamecube), and I found the default control setting for entering scan mode (press a button THEN point the wiimote towards the upper part of the screen) very annoying.

Is there a Gecko cheat or hack to remap the scan mode so that I can activate it just with a single button press?

Doesn't every single button press have a specific function?
Although I imagine a button combo might be more feasible
