You can play Metal Slug Advanced if you have a Slot-2 Flashcart. Not as great as the Arcade MS's, but still a good game.

Metal Slug 7 is coming for DS....eventually.

There is another game coming too........I can't rem the name......something like Protector 07 or something like that (if anyone can rem the correct name, please post it) and it looks like a clone of Metal Slug.

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
