When I load a ROM I'm stuck at white screen. I need to press 'Reset' on Emusettings to fully load the ROM. Any idea why this is happening?

What is with the general ignorance about this emulator. I've seen multiple posts in different places saying "Switch doesn't emulate DS" someone said "3DS emulator is already better than DS is for Switch" and they bring up LineageOS to use DS but no one gives any credit to this which is on Horizon. I mean WTF, I'm not claiming to have tried every game but the games I've thrown at it work. I mean yeah 6 months ago I thought the same way but this emulator has improved leaps and bounds, am I wrong?

Nope, I pretty much that it is just ignorance and the fact that @catlover007's version doesn't have its own thread

Yesterday there was someone saying it sucks and it turned out it was because they didn't know how to get it to work. They made no effort to ask in this thread in which people are nice here and would help them. They can't get it to work so it "sucks".

I do have a little bit of sound issue in Retroarch for the games I've tried. I use title redirect with max overclock, but still can't fix it. I guess the best way to describe it is sound distortion? I can make a video if need be.

yeah i definitely like drastic and all but this build is a drastic killer. Way it has progressed. Shame really. What I notice is the switch scene is so massive. It has so many nooks and crannies. Like to me the fact that I can play area 51 or t2 the arcade game perfectly. That blows my mind. But the knowledge is so spread out because there are so many systems and games the switch can do if you figure out config. For the layman it is overwhelming. Tough problem.

Hey guys I have a weird issue with melonds. I am not able to go past the title screen of Zelda spirit tracks. After the title screen it tries to create a save file for a second and after this the game gives me the message " Data could not be written. Turn the power off, then reinsert the Game Cart".

Can someone please help me

Thanks in advance ^^

that, and/or you still have another save file in another size lying around, delete so it creates a new one.

I've seen some people metion the touchscreen lagging behind while the top screen had no issues, notably on SM64. I didn't have this issue on SM64, however, in Mario & Luigi Partners in Time, it happens without interruption as soon as you launch the game.

(I'm posting this since the issue seems to depend on the game you're playing, so it might help someone who's more experienced than me to fix it.)

you might have already heared that drastic has been ported to retroarch and will eventually be open sourced. With this on the horizon I see no point anymore continuing my work. This project is discontinued.

Don't let the Drastic guys have a monopoly over DS emulation.
MelonDS is a good competition, and I for once would love to see it continuing improving :)

Im sticking up with you catlover007 i aint gonna take Drastic well now the bad news my Switch is messed up after i updated the atmosphere guess im gonna leave Switch alone for while im totally pissed with it
