Someone recently posted that they are 4 hours in without any problems. Is anyone further? Finished? Just would be nice to know that I'm not going to run into any issues down the line

If you can get ~4hrs in to the game without problems, there's a good chance that all the security checks are bypassed/disabled.
I think by now with all the people who have played, at least one of them has beaten it on an R4/M3S/DSTT and hasn't run into a crash -- otherwise we'd hear it.

It doesn't work on my original R4...
I am using the midified Depravo version.
And if it helps, i have set YSMenu as my moonshell loader.
All other games besides mario work. Well...at least i think so, i am assuming theydo cuz Devil Survivor does work...
Whenever i load mario i get the messaage:
Disk errcode = 81 Please reset system
Also, i have already trieddeleting TTMENU.sys.
...halp? o-o;

First suggestion... Don't trim your ROM.
Second suggestion... Use YSMenu as Firmware.

YSMenu doesn't work as a firmware for me. In that case, NONE of the roms load. Reason for why i used moonshell.
And i never trim my roms o-o; hehe
I tried at first normally
then with xpa patch.
Same error on both. ;_;

Give a2h's YSMenu Generator a shot... it's a lot easier to use than the command line version.

You shouldn't need any sort of patches if you're using YSMenu.


You could also try to format your card.
First, back up all your files to PC, then use the Panasonic SD Formatter to format your card and copy a clean YSMenu and the game onto the card.
If everything works, copy your other games/apps over.

No, this is an updated DSTT firmware. If you build YSMenu with this new firmware it fixes the compatibility issues with M&L 3.

Links to pre-converted YSMenu cannot be given but many guides/auto-builders are out there if you look.

I got it

but not from here I found it already created on torrent site.
I like the new way it loads. No longer does it do the black screen with step 1 step 2 .....load

it just has a quick load bar across the bottom screen.

I just added a few fixes to Depravo's updated R4YSAuto, collected info and made a thread for people to post in while muddling through tech support

Actually, until I got my hands on Depravo's update, I couldn't get the new DSTT to work on my YSMenu lol.

I was using the L button on R4 original firmware (1.18) and i cant find anything as this option in YSMenu. (not counting moonshell witch dosnt seem to work)

And is there any tutorial that explains whole DSTT and YSMenu whats it all about cause I'm a bit confused with it and dont get it to the end. :/

Open up YSMenu.ini (\TTMENU\YSMenu.ini) and you'll see the following lines:CODE; Brightness (0-3 or -1=Default)
BRIGHT=-1

I'm not sure how the number effects brightness, I've never touched it and don't have a DSLite.
And I'm not sure if there's a way to change the brightness from the menu itself.

Touch the light bulb(maybe more like the sun)icon on ysmenu. Its on the upper left corner of the touch screen.
