Hacking Mario and Luigi RPG 3 (Japan) Protection Check Bypass!

I just want to thank those people who took the time and effort to help me get this sorted. I was completely stuck with R4....but after THOROUGHLY reading through this thread (and a couple of others), within a few minutes, I had the game working perfectly. It is frustrating to see some people clearly NOT reading the threads and asking countless questions...Anyway, again, big thanks to everyone who contributed to this, and helped me sort it out!

I finally got YSMENU to work, but it says for some games (Like Mario & Luigi 3) that it doesn't have any cheats.......

Use the inbuilt YSMenu cheat tool. It will download the latest cheats for you and...hey presto!!

Having said this though, I have played upto *SPOILER ALERT??* a part where Bowser has to eat a carrot....and the game freezes up

For all M3 Simply(Don't know about M3 Real) users!! I use the YSmenu and a save file after the first battle and till now is works perfectly I will upload the save file in bowser so for anyone want it take it

how do i get the cheat into text files?

just take the code and paste them into the text file i think

so the result would be something like this:

[name of code]
xxxxxxxx yyyyyyyy
....

hi all sorry for posting this but im really bad with working all this out i have an R4 and i want to play mario and luigi rpg 3 but for some reason i added the cheats to the game but the bypass cheat isnt working and when i boot up YSmenu the cheats dont show up at all. My problem is the same as everyone elses was once the game starts up it turns to a black screen BEFORE the first battle starts so could someone please post a easy to understand step by step guide so that i can play this game.

yes i did now the cheats work but 4 sum reason i load up ysmenu click the game but now the game wont even load it stops at like 3 quarters of the bar at the bottom of the screen ne1 help wit dat den the the game will work lol

ok now i no that if i get ysmenu running then the game will work but i cant even load the game i press the game nd it wont actually load the game it just stops loading with tthat bar thing on the bottom of the screen just before the game is suposed to start if sum1 can please just help me fix this it will fix the game and i will stop posting and for those of u that can help me thank you very much but u have 2 post it so i no how 2 do it lmao

If Ysmenu won't load the game, try reformatting the microSD. I had the same problem before, and I was able to fix it by reformatting the card JUST BACK UP YOUR FILES FIRST. Reformatting WILL ERASE YOUR DATA.
