NBAjam isn’t supported. http://www.toadking.com/wiimame-0.4.txt ..and for other games not working (megaman etc) check toadkings readme “Even games for early boards like CPS-1 can fail to run due to RAM limitations”.

Its a shame tehskeen died as there was a quite a comprehensive working compatibility list on there?

I finish work in about 2 hours so will fire this up then.

I don't see any improvement in framerate, in fact some games plays a slightly slower. I've tested only three so far, and they run better on the previous release.

Whats playing slower?

I've tried robocop, final fight, street fighter 2, bubble bobble, tmnt, crude busters, dynamite dux, cannon dancer, golden axe and operation wolf and they all seemed a fair bit quicker (and smoother when scrolling) on this release - plus the sound popping in a few of them is pretty much non existant now.

Pacmania, super pacman, galaga and galaga88 are now all working again for me too (and didn't on the previous release).

@Toadking:

Is there any chance the 150 limit on games could possibly be upped? ..and (in the future) is there any way to add drivers for some additional games like rodland, Pang (and super pang), POW, Chase HQ etc so that they'd work on this port? ...no worries if not (just wishful thinking

).

Thanks for the update.

Did you also replace the mame.ini file? There's some important changes in there.

Quick question for you guys: Has anybody gotten any CPS2 games to work on this emulator? I know Super Street Fighter 2 doesn't work, but do any other one work?

Just tried this out: while the game works, it skips a lot of frames to get at a playable speed. Probably gets around 10-15 FPS, so it's not the most playable game. (Hey, there's always TE on the SNES

I meant I compiled a version of MAME that supports NBA Jam and tried it. The released version doesn't support it.

For anyone that wants to get 'Vendetta' running you need to press F2 (Service Mode) after you start the game for it to work (you only need to do this once).

I've not tried as I guessed they'd all be to big to run (seeing as games like side arms, street fighter 1, megaman etc code dump)?

The game uses too much memory, so it's probably impossible to ever get it working outside of a complete rewrite of MAME's graphics system.

It's probably a case where it uses just a little too much RAM. 0.2 was built with support for Konami games only for testing purposes. The support for more games probably used that last amount of RAM it needed.

If you're up to it, you can get the source and compile a version yourself that only has support for Konami games and it should work then.

Would seperate builds of say CPS1 or CPS2 work? ..or has the wii got little memory to play with?

A lot of CPS1 games already work. CPS2 games might, but it really depends on the game.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
