He won't be releasing incomplete patches. At least, that's what I gathered from this thread a couple of hours ago.

Ok, I can be new here, but I do believe that he can do a very nice job IF some people here stop complaining about what is he doing or not doing.
Let him work in peace, a mind in peace works better.
He is doing a very nice and it's not easy to translate something from Japanese to English.
He is working hard, because he knows how to.
Who else could do what he is doing? I think nobody here, without a translator ¬¬'
My opinion is : Let he work in peace, NOW!

yea, im pretty sure it wont be 100% done by the time the english version is out.

he said he expected to finish the translation by christmas didnt he? i doubt itd take around 6 months to do the little tweaks, finishes, and graphics

With the way he seems to be doing it, he'll be just finishing Johto by December. No offense to him at all because I hope him the best, but it seems he's doing it as he plays instead of doing it directly from a text dump, which opens up to all kinds of bugs. Alot of secret text and such, then there's Kanto, the rematches, and other sidequests

and then after that he'll still have to do items, Pokegear, and trainer names/battles. Sounds like a tough time, we'll see though and I wish him the best since he's the only one working on a full translation

Well, Assuming there's not alot of text afterwards, which actually needs translation, I'm sure he'll be able to finish by his estimate. :I

well if you guys dont want to wait to we could always offer to pay him. give him a little more insentive to work on it. then he wouldnt just be doing it in his free time. it would a part time job for him
