Hacking M3 DS Real and using an 8GB card with numerous games?

Just curious. If I use an 8GB card card... can I place all my games in the NDS folder or do I need to make multiple files.

I remember older flashcarts used to only be able to hold 60 games per folder.

At this point you will still need to separate the games into different folders.

if you use the hacked m3sakura you can place your roms anywhere except the system folder(m3sakura might get problems from unknown files in the systenm folder)
in m3manager(default firmware) you can place official roms only in the nds folder, but homebrews can be placed anywhere(unless the readme for that homebrew says otherwise)

m3manager can hold 128 files in a single folder if i remember correctly.
m3sakura, nobody found a limit yet.

I use a M3ds Real with an 8gb card and have over 80 games in my NDS folder, runs all the games, no problems at all, no need for separate and multiple folders

Depends on what you want to use it for

it is faster loading then the real fw and alot easier to scroll games but lacks some of the reals features there have been a few threads mentioning these in the past i believe
