its necessary to have arm9loaderhax to update to boot9strap to still have luma updates ? i have menuhax on 9.2 with latest emunand.
Yes, the owner of the nightly site has said that the process to build the new versions of Luma has changed (which is why the newest nightlies are empty) and should be fixed soon.Seems that the latest nightlies are still all empty. As in, no .firm file.
Why the massive gap in file size?Just made a custom B9_MAKER.7z for batch exploiting several 3DSes.
It's only 2MB!
A9_MAKER.7z is 710MB!
Yes, that would be called a CTRNAND-based installation. You can boot luma 3ds without a sd card right.
(Learnt of tcpixel's video)
So I was wondering how did he have small games play straight off the nand?

Mind linking this video? I don't understand what you mean by "small games."
I mean small games by in size so not a 1gb game only a 10-40mg
This is true. You can only install TWL titles in CTRNAND. The system itself gives you some free space to install DSiWare. If I understand correctly, the only games installable to NAND are DSiWare games. Everything else is on the SD Card.

You shouldn't need to compile it. There are releases, you know.Trying to compile latest Luma3DS, but getting this error:
make: firmtool: Command not found
I suspect I need the latest makerom.exe 64-bit.
Anybody have it compiled?
Thanx

Clock+L2 is optional, it improves performance in a large number of games but drains the battery much faster.Do I just need the Show NAND or user string in System Settings” enabled now, or do I have to enable other options? Like clock +L2 ?
