A LONG time ago, I followed Plailect's guide and got ARM9/Luma3DS installed and all was well. Months and months went by and I never touched the 3DS. Recently, I started messing around on it again and I installed the latest Luma CFW (7.0.2?) by copying over the .bin file and again, everything seemed well. All my games worked, that 'FBI' program loads....everything was cool.
I turned wi-fi back on and had to remove my custom DNS settings on the 3DS to get FreeShop working. Today, I got an alert saying something about needing a system update. I backed out of that and went into system settings and see "Sys 11.0.0-33U". I'm fairly certain that at one point, it said "Emu xxxxxx". Looks like I'm booting into SysNand
.
I checked the options in Luma and I'm NOT defaulting to booting sysNand at power up. I tried selecting "Emunand x1, x2, x3, x4" and each time at boot, System info still reports "Sys 11.xxx".
So I don't turn a weird situation bad, how do I perform the following:
1) Erase any traces of the pending system update from sysnand. (Assuming I'm actually in sysNand)
2) From where I am, how do I create a Emunand or what do I need to do to see if it's hidden on my SD card?
Unfortunately, I don't stay in the loop on this stuff as much as I'd like so I'll need you to explain things like you're talking to a 5 year old.
I found this post....(see # 12).... should I follow those steps?
Thanks
