The limit is 19 characters counting the '%' in '%d' or '%ls'I'm guessing that's the limit can't have a U on the end?

What does %ls do?The limit is 19 characters counting the '%' in '%d' or '%ls'
%ls would be region in this case. though you need all of the digits for that to happen. What does %ls do?
Ver. %d.%d.%d-%d%ls
Great, thanks!yeah man you're good to go just make sure your nands are unlinked
U only ever need to unlink if u use menuhax and no other reason everGreat, thanks!
(of course they're unlinked, I'm paranoid like that, and the "no homebrew" thing is moot since I can load those from MenuHax, so yay!)
Though you should really consider moving to a9lh... It's really faster and better. I was on emunand with menuhax for around 2 months until I decided to move, and don't regret it at all, done to 2 other consoles in the same situation. Also, didn't lose anything, since I updated and backed up emunand first, and then restored it into sysnand when I was done with a9lh configuration. And, let's not forget, when I did it Plailect's guide was considerably longer!Great, thanks!

Noooo, cooler version string stopped being a valid reason to switch to Corbenik. Why did I even write the wiki? :/ https://github.com/AuroraWright/Lum...-downgraded-from-the-gateway-menu-in-the-past
The maximum is 19 characters, and you don't have to change the %s, you can remove some of them if you want though. As an example " Ver. %d.%d-Luma3DS" yields " Ver. 11.1-Luma3DS"
Hum... More than once a day maybe? How often do you guys actually go into the system settings to see the version string?!
Do you gaze at it wistfully while whispering sweet nothings in the 3DS mic?Hum... More than once a day maybe?
I'm still holding out for the day Luma will support 2.X firmwares so the entire process becomes brick-safe. Or simply enough time to run through the whole thing in one day, whichever comes first.Though you should really consider moving to a9lh... It's really faster and better. On both branches:
- 1.x and 2.x NATIVE_FIRM are now supported on SysNAND with the FIRM writes patch, this allows you to update retaining A9LH on every system version.
no, you still need to go to 2.1 sysnand.Wait, does this mean you can get OTP via emuNAND without risking anything? Jawsome!
Not at all. The OTP is locked before going into EmuNAND afaik.Wait, does this mean you can get OTP via emuNAND without risking anything? Jawsome!
You can delete the downgrade Files but keep the backupView attachment 62709
A question I can delete the file from 2.1.0-4U files9 folder or should I keep it in the directory.
The installation process has been completed.
Just think necessary to leave the nand.bin because any problem I can use it to fix.
