How exactly do you type the customversion.txt? I tried Ver. 11.1.0-34 Luma3DS and i tried Ver. %1.%1.%0-%34-Luma3DS but nothing changed, i know i didn't type something right

The maximum is 19 characters, and you don't have to change the %s, you can remove some of them if you want though. As an example " Ver. %d.%d-Luma3DS" yields " Ver. 11.1-Luma3DS"

It is sincerely regretted having bought the Gateway 3DS only gave me my other problem 3ds gave brick because of it.
One wonders why you do not put support Gateshark in Luma. Create LumaCheat compatible with the codes of Gateshark.
Can I upgrade my old 3ds normally or have to use Sysupdater ?

Again thank you for help if not bother much is there any app that you can install in 3ds to update the Luma.

you need to use Gateway's Launcher.dat and use GW mode for their cheats.

Gateway mode would be the way it appears in the Gateway menu by pressing the letter B. In order to use the Gateway Nand.

How do I remove the "s" ?

So I tried Luma3DS-%d.%d-%d and when i boot into setting I get the please shut off 3ds screen but when I had it as Luma3DS-%d.%d-%d%d it got to settings with -034s

I even tried Luma3DS-%d.%d.%d-%dU and this time it just showed what Luma3DS shows normaly

You should have read before updating.

Both Gateway 3DS and Homebrew Launcher need to be updated before they can work on 11.1.
