NTR CFW is not open source. BootNTR and NTRViewer are, NTR CFW itself is closed.

yes, D&D and type path. .bin or .dat file. path changer is only for Luma3DS not for Reinand. both are completely different custom firmware.

I you can run Luma or any other CFW, you are on 9.2 or less, so you don't need those to downgrade.

I can't downgrade it,im using plailect guide to cfw and they say i need the hardmod/dsimod

what's your sysnand version? turn on the system without the SD card.

if you're running 11.0 or 11.1 (non-CFW), you can only downgrade via hardmod/DSiWareHax.

If you don't know what it is, don't use it. It's a dev option since the builds were merged into one.

I know...I used the dev version temporarily and I had to select it (probably) to use NTRLoader but I don't know if it's needed anymore because with Luma normal version 6.2.3...that option doesn't exist and I could use the NTRLoader normally...

The question is thus: Is it necessary to select that option when using NTRCFW?

i have new 3ds xl (sysnand 11.1) and running a9lh+luma3ds+shadownand. i have tried to update luma via luma updater and replace the arm9loaderhax.bin manually but it still in 6.1.1 version (the version that i first install luma3ds). how can i fix it? thanks
ps: i also have a trouble when playing ds cartridge, when i open it, my 3ds get restarted and back to home menu. if you're asking, i have tried all of the solution in wiki (undo the twl_firm patch and use pathchanger)

I'm having trouble with super smash bros and HM gen. I tried to method in the wiki but i'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly.
I tried generating an arm9loaderhax.bin file from the this link http://luma3ds.ericchu.net/
and place the new arm9loaderhax.bin file into the location stated (root of sd) but it still doesn't work.

I have a n3ds a9lh modded with plailect's guide. I'm not sure if a boot manager is used in plailect's guide

I do not know what did you do.
For Luma 6.3 has 2 way to add path for the .bin and .dat

1. using pathcnhager to change the Path

2. put path.txt in the luma folder.

in the txt file you have to set the path correctly.
For example/
If you put the .bin file on the root fo SD card => "/xxxxxxxx.bin" (w/o quotation)
if you put the .bin file in the luma folder => "/luma/xxxxxxx.bin" (w/o quotation)

You need to have arm9loaderhax.bin in your SD card's root now.
