Hello guys. After about two days of scouring, I need to ask for help:

I have a Wii U; Hakchi, Retroarch and Nintendont are all installed but I can't seem to figure out how to convert my GCN backups.

Any concise details on which app to use FOR MACS is GREATLY appreciated.

FYI, I have Nkit1.4 installed but the .exe won't open. I downloaded mono, but it's a coding thing within Terminal, which is a bit out of my lane. I also have Dolphin 5.0, but I'm not sure how to covert the files to ISO within the emulation app; I can however, run games off dolphin.

Big thanks!

You mean gamecube disc games? You can use Disk Utility on mac to convert your disc games to iso format then put that iso to your sd card on wii u. But if mac os couldn't see the gamecube disc then the only option is downloading iso from internet

I figured out how to do the RVZ conversion to ISO using Dolphin 5.0 app. It's quite simple:

Configure/Paths/Select the folder where you want Dolphin to look for you roms. From there, right click the listed game, convert to ISO. It's that simple!

Thanks!

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
