Hacking Looking to buy a supercard but i have some questions

I have a Dsi on 1.4.4 will i need another Ds to update it? Is it worth the 40 bucks or should i just buy a cheaper flashcard?

You do need another DS to update it. (last I checked)
If you have the money to buy a Supercard DStwo, it has tons of features no other flashcard has. I also suggest getting it cheaper here

i guess i wont be getting one since i only have 1 Ds. unless i can find a place that has them preflashed for 1.4.4 i will buy one. I already have a acekard im looking to update

You could always buy a used one from cloud123 for 28 shipped. I'm pretty sure he be willing to update it for you and he said he updated it.

If you won't use the features the DStwo adds like Real time save, GBA and some others there is no point buying one. Waste of money. Just ask yourself will you use them and how much will you use them if any.

This is not true, DSi compatibility is solely based on the EOS, which is simply files drag-n-dropped onto the MicroSD. The OP does not need another DS to update (that's only required for 3DS compatibility).

There is no wonder dstwo was the best card,but if speaking of best value for money, acekard 2i is your best choose. and it can support DSi V1.44.Lots of sites can provide the pre-flashed ak2i now, my friend received one from here : http://www.digitopz.com/acekard-2i-p-25.html , pre-update and upgradable one. You also can google or check shoptemp, many shops are there.

And the DSTWO supports DSi v1.44 too, without flashing either.
