So he allowing old game piracy but not allowing new game piracy? Sorry but this much confusing.

Apparently he is against it as a whole but he didn't make those emulators so he can't do much about it. IDK. You'll have to ask him.

How about STAHP.

If you want to discuss about morals and piracy,
go here:
http://gbatemp.net/threads/when-is-pirating-ok-discussion.340822/page-39

Otherwise,
understand that this thread is about a CFW,
which in essence involves someone tinkering with Nintendo's code,
and it is based off GW's work, which allows roms and homebrew,
so whether is it piracy or not,
understand that you are treading those lines.

TL; DR:
once again, your opinion on piracy goes here:
http://gbatemp.net/threads/when-is-pirating-ok-discussion.340822/page-39

we discuss NTR CFW here.

---

now on topic-

previously when devmenu cfw was leaked,
GW upped their game by importing those features.

so all we need to wait for now,
is GW to adapt THESE features,
like the screenshooting capabilities and what not XDD

God, I'm tired of people saying playing 20+ year old games on an emulator is "piracy."

From a legal standpoint, yes it is technically copyright infringement (ive read about the figure of nintendos game copyrights extending for about 80 years from date of release, but you can't read everything you read on the internet, right?)

But in all honesty, nintendos "virtual console" and the PSN "classics" are just a money grab and nothing more, trying to squeeze every single cent out of all the ethical gamers who refuse to download roms/ISO's even though they could easily play them on their PC.

I remember years ago when rom sites used to say "you must delete these roms within 24 hours if you don't own the original game/cartridge", was even funnier than Winrar asking for purchase:P.

Wait? I didn't have to pay for winrar?

Wait? I didn't have to pay for winrar?

OH MY GOD!
What happened when you did???

Was it something special, something strange... maybe something life defining?
Many theories surround the things that could happen when someone dares to break the ancient rules of Winrar. Some of them contain miracles, others contain pure evil. Sometimes it scares me to even think about the secrets that a purchase of Winrar could reveal to the world. Do we really want to know them? But could they also save us someday?

You, my friend, have the power to stop all of this mental suffering. You have the knowledge about the most mysterious puzzle of our time.
So please share your knowledge with us, as you are the one who sacrificed himself for the answers we all crave.
What happened as you paid for Winrar?

I am the author of NTR CFW, which was originally posted on a chinese forum.
I want to clearify that the CFW is not compatible with devmenu or CIAs, and we will not add this feature in the future.
Although some homebrew apps are released in CIA format, however CIA is an proprietary format and homebrew should be recommend to release in 3dsx format for avoiding legal issues.
We will provide a 3dsx-format homebrew launcher in future, but we will never add cia support.
Adding cia support by plugins is not possible normally, since plugins have arm11 access, and arm9 patch is required for installing unsigned cias.

Do you plan on adding some type of cheat feature, or memory editing plugin? Something along that lines at least.
